News for the New Year, 2019 edition

Hemelein Publications has a lot going on in 2019. Follow us on Facebook to keep updated!

There are currently three anthologies in various stages of planning and production:

  • Trace the Stars comes out on February 14. This collection of space opera and hard science fiction stories is the first in the LTUE Benefit Anthologies series created to help Life, the Universe, & Everything continue to let students attend for a very small membership cost. It’s in the final proofing stages right now. There will be a launch event at LTUE on February 14, 2019, so watch here for more details on that.
  • A Dragon and Her Girl, the second volume in the LTUE Benefit Anthologies series, was announced in 2018, and we closed submissions for stories in mid-December 2018. Jaleta Clegg and Joe Monson are now reading all of the submissions to determine which ones will be included in it. The cover artist is hard at work on the final touches of the epic cover. We’ll reveal it at the launch event for Trace the Stars in February.
  • A Kickstarter campaign for a humorous space opera and military science fiction anthology will be launched sometime this month. We are finishing up the details on the project so we have everything in place for that. We’ll announce it here once we are ready to go.

There are a number of other projects in very preliminary stages, and we will announce them as soon as we have enough details to do so. We look forward to a great year sharing awesome stories with you!
