Steven Keele

Steven Keele is an artist focused on visual creation. He is somewhat unique in that he is proficient in a diverse number of traditional and digital mediums.

Ever since he was a young boy, Steve was interested in the realms of fantasy and science fiction. He’d either have his nose in a fantasy book or busy drawing castles, knights and dragons. After taking numerous art classes throughout his teen years, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from BYU.

During his 40+ years as a professional artist, Steve began doing layout for Saturday morning cartoons, such as the original Smurfs and Thundarr the Barbarian series. He used airbrush to create paintings for a children’s magazine and books, and rendered thousands of logo designs, t-shirt illustrations, and even painted billboards.

Steve conceptualized hundreds of 3D digital models used for illustrations and popular video games such as Gauntlet Legends, Abe’s Oddysee, Van Helsing, Timez Attack, and so on. He has produced original art for videos and films such as The Shadow, Batman & Robin, Dungeons & Dragons, Antz, and Godzilla.

He has also done medical visualization for works such as 3D Body Adventure, and he has rendered countless accident reconstructions for courtroom litigation. Steve is currently involved in 3D animation for the auto industry as well as doing freelance art and animation.

Steve is married and has 6 children and 17 grandchildren. He loves music and plays bass guitar and sings in local classic rock bands.
