Tangent Online 2019 Recommended Reading List

Tangent Online has been reviewing short science fiction and fantasy for nearly three decades. Each year, they release a recommended reading list of new short fiction, and their 2019 Recommended Reading List includes two stories from Trace the Stars! “Knowing Me”, by Eric G. Swedin and “Cycle 335” by Beth Buck. Congratulations to the two of you! We’re glad to see your stories getting noticed. There are so many amazing stories on the list, and we are very proud to have these two stories there, too. Thanks to Victoria Silverwolf for reviewing the anthology for Tangent, and to Dave Truesdale…

Trace the Stars official final list of stories, submissions closed

It’s been great fun reading all of the submissions since issuing the call in November 2017. There were so many excellent entries that it was hard to select the ones that worked best for this space opera and hard science fiction anthology. We appreciate all of the authors who submitted stories for consideration to show their support of the mission of Life, the Universe, & Everything to help educate and hone new and existing writers. All proceeds from this anthology go to support the mission of LTUE to allow students to attend for a greatly discounted price. Submissions are now…

While the submission period is open until July this year, it looks like that might have been too long a time as we have received so many submissions already. We will continue to consider submissions through the end of the submission period, but your story is more likely to be included…
