The following email was sent out on November 6, 2017 to all of the authors we know:
Greetings!
Attached is a call for submissions to participate in the first in a series of benefit anthologies to help the Life, the Universe, and Everything symposium. This anthology will be edited by myself and Jaleta Clegg.
For this anthology, we are looking for the following:
- Hard science fiction or space opera short fiction
- Stories up to 17,500 words
- Unpublished or reprint stories
Stories are due by July 31, 2018. If you have a story that meets these criteria, please review the attached call for submissions for more details. If you have additional questions, feel free to reply and let me know.
If you don’t have a story of your own, but you know someone who does, please forward this message to them (including the attachment).
If you don’t have a story that fits the criteria for this anthology, be aware there will be additional benefit anthologies published in the future that will fall under a variety of different genres.
If you are interested in participating in this anthology, please let me know by replying to this message. If you do not wish to participate in any future anthologies, please reply and let me know and I will be happy to make sure you don’t receive these invitations in the future.
