Hemelein Publications is pleased to announce Sharks in an Inland Sea, a collection of short fiction and essays by Lehua Parker. She has published three novels in her Niuhi Shark Saga, as well as writing many works of short fiction, some of them set in that same universe. Parker also speaks about and advocates for indigenous cultural narratives, frequently presenting at conferences, symposiums, and schools. She grew up in Hawaii, and many of her stories are set there or influenced by her experiences there.
Sharks in an Inland Sea is scheduled for publication in June 2022 and will be the fourth volume in the Legacy of the Corridor publication series highlighting established and lesser-known authors from the Intermountain West. The cover will be revealed soon.
