George Charles Wallis (a.k.a., Royston Heath and John Stanton) was born in Weedon, Nottinghamshire, England, on March 18, 1871. He was a printer, a cinema manager, and the author of a number of science fiction, lost race, and young adult novels and short stories. He published for more than 50 years, but mostly in pulp magazines, and, with the exception of very few short stories, is virtually forgotten today.
On September 1, 1956, at the age of 85, he died in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.
