Jenny Perry Carr is group vice president of scientific services for a medical communications company by day, budding sci-fi/fantasy/horror writer at night, which sounds much like the beginnings of a superhero’s bio. But alas, her only superpower is remembering random facts, like the human body contains trillions of microorganisms that outnumber our own cells by 10 to 1!
She has a PhD in molecular neurobiology from Yale University that influences much of her speculative writing. She’s a Minnesota native living in North Texas with her husband. She has been published in Dark Recesses, the anthology Murderbirds by WonderBird Press, and Troubadours and Space Princesses and Dog Save the King from Hemelein. She is currently working on a sci-fi trilogy.
Hemelein Publications works:
- “Luck, Life, Light, and Other Frivolous Pursuits” in Troubadours and Space Princesses (February 2024)
- “Curse of the Jackal King” in Dog Save the King (February 2025)
