A Texan by birth, and temperament, Joseph Capdepon II grew up reading everything he could get his hands on. After high school, where he would read the day away when he could, he went into the lucrative career of retail, then construction, because working in the hot Texas summer was much more preferable than being shouted at by angry customers.
After a few different construction jobs, he finally found his niche, and is out of the heat, working in the office, the air conditioned office, working hard on designing fire alarm systems. After some prodding from friends, he started writing, publishing his first short story to the Grantville Gazette Universe Annex.
He’s been working furiously, pounding away at keyboards, putting words down, and weaving stories he hopes people will enjoy. He continues to churn out words from his home north of Houston, with his lovely wife, and his amazing standard poodles, daughter, chickens, two ducks, and one quite serious goose.
He is taking care of business, one word at a time.
