The Legacy of the Corridor is a publication series of collections of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and alternate history short and long fiction, poetry, and essays by authors from “the Corridor”, an area that stretches from Idaho, through Utah, a little bit of Wyoming and Nevada, into Arizona and New Mexico, and into the northern part of Mexico (“the colonies”). This area was settled by pioneers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (often called “Mormons”), and it has produced an inordinate amount (compared to the population) of science fiction, fantasy, and horror authors and other creatives (not all of them Mormon, either).
This series aims to make sure this legacy continues by highlighting well-known and lesser-known authors from this region (see this post on the AML site for more details). We hope you enjoy the collections and works in this series.
