Since its beginnings in the early 1980s, the Life, the Universe, & Everything Symposium has been a staple of the Utah and Intermountain West author and artist community. A Hero of a Different Stripe responses done
We have now sent out all of the acceptance and rejection notifications for submissions to the A Hero of a Different Stripe anthology, and less than a week after we wanted to get them out! If you submitted a story, please check your email (and check the trash or spam folders if you don’t see it right away). We appreciate all of the story submissions. Twilight Tales releases on Thursday!
Twilight Tales will be released on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Life, the Universe, & Everything 39. This year, it will be all online, so we’ll see how that works out. You can register for LTUE here. The launch event will be on Friday, February 12, at 1:00pm (Mountain Time) in the Douglas Adams Channel of the LTUE Discord server. Parliament of Wizards submissions processed!
All of the submissions to the Parliament of Wizards benefit anthology have been reviewed, and acceptances and rejections have been sent out. The emails will be from editor at this domain. Thank you to everyone who submitted! Keep an out out here and on our Facebook page for updates about future anthologies (benefit and paid). We appreciate your support!
Parliament of Wizards selection decision delayed
Brief update on the call for Parliament of Wizards: We are slightly behind due to COVID-19 stuff, but we are very close to finishing selecting all of the stories. We should have letters out to everyone who submitted within the next couple weeks. Thanks for your patience!
Updates for June 2020
We are working on several projects right now: We are reviewing and sending out the edits to authors for Twilight Tales, our light horror anthology. This will take a few days due to COIVD-19 impacting how we work on things here at Hemelein, but they are going out. If you’re waiting for your edits, rest assured they are on their way soon! Twilight Tales is scheduled for a February 2021 release. We are also working with the cover artists to finalize the cover. Once that’s done, we’ll share it with you. We are reviewing the submissions for Parliament of Wizards….
